Positive reinforcement has become an important part of the fabric of the classroom, from planning fun activities and writing prompts that promote positivity to teaching students to use positive words when speaking. However, some general benefits of using different teaching strategies in the classroom include helping students to better understand and retain information, to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, and to become more engaged in the learning process.
